I am getting ready to have Kyle at IPP build an engine for my Z and I am trying to decide which turbos will be best suited for my needs. I want minimal lag, 450 RWHP potential on 91 if possible, reliable, strong midrange (3-5K RPM). The car will be mainly street driven (not a daily driver by any means) and will see a track event every other month or so. It will have:
IPP Stage One longblock with 9.0:1 (forged) pistons Greddy SMICs Koyo radiator Specialty-Z "old" split DPs my current single exhaust Zemulator DoolZ intake RC 720CC injectors My ITB intake manifold ported stock exhaust manifolds And whatever turbos I decide to get. The 530s are probably out of my price range but if they are THAT good then maybe I will wait and save a bit longer. Thank you for your input.
